Hand thrown speckled stoneware with mottled green glaze.
Great for kitchen utensils or flowers, this is a lovely, chunky and sturdy pot. I use one similar for a standard sized bunch of lilies.
This is a smooth, shiny glaze. In combination with the iron-rich clay, the colours in it remind me of lichen seen on Derbyshire stone walls.
The non-glazed areas have been smoothed by sanding, but please take care on delicate surfaces.
